Blue Mains Water Pipe
Our Blue MDPE pipe is WRc Tested and WRAS Approved, which means that it is approved for potable water for human consumption. MDPE pipe is pressure rating to 12 BAR up to 63mm and 10 BAR for 90mm and 110mm. We stock; 20mm, 25mm, 32mm, 50mm and 63mm. The size relates to the outside diameter of the pipe. All sizes come in coils of 25 metre, 50 metre and 100 metre coils. MDPE pipe is sometimes referred to as, alkathene pipe, pe pipe, water pipe, poly pipe, blue water pipe and pe80 pipe.

We keep a large stock of commonly used plastic compression fittings including couplings, tees, bends and male and female adaptors. Push fit fittings are available to suit heavy gauge, normal gauge, imperial and metric pipes. Universal fittings are available to connect PE pipe to all metal pipes (imperial and metric copper, lead and steel) and all plastic pipe (imperial and metric PE and UPVC) – range 15mm to 50mm. fittings are ideal for new pipe connections and for the repair and maintenance of existing pipelines. IPL group also have accessories (wrench, cutters, bevelling tools) available.
